Maritime and Polytechnic College

MARTEC is a maritime and polytechnic educational center offering all maritime education programs in Denmark. The programs range from basic training to advanced polytechnic and nautical degrees.

MARTEC also manages the training ship DANMARK and operates an extensive course program focused on certification-based training within the maritime, offshore, and wind energy sectors.

In 2017, MARTEC merged with Skagen Skipperskole to strengthen the range of maritime education available in the North Jutland region. As a result, MARTEC now offers all maritime educational pathways.

The maritime upper secondary education programs, Maritim Student HF & STX, offered in collaboration with Frederikshavn Gymnasium, have also been enhanced. Students are now provided with accommodation at MARTEC’s student residence, offering safe and supervised living conditions.
