The Maritime Research Alliance PhD Network brings maritime PhDs together and introduces them to ongoing developments in academia and industry via lectures, company visits, seminars, social events, etc.

The events are diving into topics and interests suggested by the junior researchers in the network. Among previous events, we have explored the topic of decarbonization, visited ports and maritime suppliers, and hosted feedback sessions on current PhD projects.

27 August 13.00-14.30 Just-in-time principle (online webinar)

Speakers: Hanna Varvne from RISE – Research Institutes of Sweden, Kate Markhida from CBS and Jonas Hedegaard from SDU. They will be talking about their research with focus on “just in time” principle. Teams invitation will be send out in August.

10-11 September PhD network seminar at Fredericia Maskinmesterskole (in person)

10-11 September we will have a seminar in Fredericia with focus on green transition. Participation in the seminar is free of charge. Sign up and see program on the “events” page. Deadline for signing up is 11 August.
