The maritime ecosystem for research and innovation consist of different actors who collaborate closely to support research and innovation. Some of these actors are mentioned below:

Maritime Research Alliance is a network organization for for maritime researchers at the universities and work with maritime research at the PhD level.

MARIKO is a network organization for maritime researchers at the maritime schools and schools of maritime and technical engineering

ShippingLab is a non-profit platform for innovation and project collaboration among partners across Blue Denmark. ShippingLab also works to attract (technical) talent to the industry.

Green Ship of the Future is an independent non-profit organization driven and financed by the members. Compared to ShippingLab it is focused on lower TRL projects.
