AAU BLUE – Marine & Maritime Research

AAU BLUE – Marine & Maritime Research is Aalborg University’s network of researchers dedicated to topics related to the marine domain: coastal protection and engineering, fisheries, marine ecology, coastal communities, offshore wind turbines and other marine-related renewable energy sources, maritime law, shipping, maritime technology, maritime history, underwater cameras and other technologies, port development, and much more.

The network serves as a gateway to the wide range of marine and maritime research activities at Aalborg University. Its purpose is to promote interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers and research environments across different faculties and campuses, and to make the research environments and the research itself more accessible, relevant, and valuable to people, companies, and organizations outside the university.

If you have a general question about the network, you are welcome to contact Associate Professor Troels J. Hegland, the network’s current go-to person. His contact information can be found via the link.

The establishment of AAU BLUE – Marine & Maritime Research is supported by the Orient Fund through a grant to the Department of Mathematical Sciences.
