January 2026: Gathering new talent!

In the Maritime Research Alliance we are passionate about strengthening cross-institutional and interdisciplinary maritime research — and we are excited to share some wonderful news.

We are thrilled to welcome Kiara-Margarita Nikita to our team. Kiara studies International Shipping and Trade at Copenhagen Business School and brings both strong academic insight and creative competencies to the Alliance.

Kiara has a strong interest in the maritime sector and the green transition, and it is therefore more than a pleasure for her to contribute to an organization dedicated to research, collaboration, and innovation in this field. In her role at MRA, she helps keep our activities structured and organized — supporting event planning, LinkedIn communication, YouTube coordination, and website updates.

In addition, Kiara draws on her previous degree in UX/UI Design to help us develop and improve our digital platforms and create new, engaging initiatives that strengthen how we communicate maritime research and collaboration.

We are very much looking forward to working together and to the many ideas and contributions ahead. Welcome aboard — we are delighted to have you with us. ⚓
