Educational Collaboration between Denmark and Indonesia

Educational Collaboration between Denmark and Indonesia

In August 2026, the Maritime Research Alliance (MRA) had the pleasure of welcoming Vidya Selasdini and markus yando from SEKOLAH TINGGI ILMU PELAYARAN (STIP) to discuss educational collaboration between Denmark and Indonesia.

First they met with Martin Jes Iversen from Copenhagen Business School to discuss exchange of students.
Then they met with Toke Møldrup Wolff from Danida Fellowship Centre to discuss potential future initiatives.
And finally they met with Jeppe Carstensen from SIMAC – Svendborg International Maritime Academy to discuss educational collaboration.

Since 2024 MRA has coordinated educational programs on decarbonization and green transition in shipping. The participants are from the Danish Maritime Authority partner countries Ghana, Kenya, India, Indonesia, China, and Philippines. This has greatly improved the visibility of Danish maritime research and education abroad and strengthened the green agenda in the partner countries.

Vidya Selasdini participated in our 2024 program, and we are delighted every time we are able to welcome former course participants to Denmark.
